My client are a large manufacturing business with a strong finance team in place at the moment.
This role reports into the Finance Manager and supports with day to day accounting plus a busy month end.
You will get study support plus plenty of opportunity to develop.
Key responsibilities:
Tasks will vary depending on the needs of the department tasks covered within the department include:
Balance sheet reconciliations
Weekly and monthly stock reporting
Stock transfer orders (STO) weekly and monthly reporting
Over-rider reporting and reconciliation
Board and bank pack preparation
Monthly intercompany agreement and matrix reporting
Identifying and developing improvements to processes and controls
Provision of weekly and monthly reporting using SAP, Anaplan and Business Warehouse (BW)
Assisting in the year end activities for the site including audit files and statutory accounts
Ad hoc reporting for Group
Skills and experience:
Management or intermediate stage CIMA/ACCA
Able to work to tight deadlines in an accurate manner
Excellent communication and team working skills
Very strong interpersonal skills must be able to develop strong working relationships
Ability to identify process flaws and provide solutions
SAP experience desirable
Excel experience essential to vlookup, pivot tables, sumifs
