Description

• Act as the main contact for financial accounting support for the Financial Control team
• Produce statutory accounts for various Group subsidiaries and co-ordinating tax pack info
• Produce a variety of high quality balance sheet control account reconciliations
• Analyse month end processes and look for ways to streamline/improve the process
• Provide technical accounting support through strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Play a key role in both internal/external financial Audits
• Make sure we're paying the right VAT and submitting an accurate quarterly VAT return for division

Profile

• Have strong knowledge of B2B services and project businesses gained in a variety of roles
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders within and outside the business through a range of techniques
• Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal, including a good ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial people
• People management and development experience, demonstrating the ability to create a high performing team and a positive culture
• High level of integrity and resilience
• Ability to set objectives, take personal responsibility and work towards objectives with limited supervision and direction
