The Role:

A very exciting opportunity has been made available for a Big 4 experienced candidate or experienced Group Accountant to contribute to the long & short term success of a multi-national ASX listed business.

The Group accountant role will report directly to and support the Group Financial Reporting Manager. This position will liaise with various business units & senior group stakeholders. At present, we are seeking expressions of interest to join our candidate and contractor talent pool in order to be considered for any future roles (subject to client instructions and/or approval).

Responsibilities:

• Meet monthly Financial Half Year and Year End reporting requirements & assist external auditors at Half Year and Year End
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and Corporate governance / statutory regulations
• Assist with the preparation of Half and Year End Statutory reports (Financial Statements; ASX submissions) including the Group cash flow statement
• High level monitoring & leading of month end balances and balance sheet reconciliations
• Group Reporting & SOX compliance adherence
• Assist in process improvement projects
• Build strong relationships with finance team in order to exchange relevant information and ideas
• Continue to review and strengthen the finance processes

Key Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA Qualified
• 3-4 years' experience within a Big 4 Chartered Accounting firm with exposure to listed or multinational organisations
• Strong stakeholder management & ability to collaborate and work strongly in a team environment
• SOX exposure and previous experience with consolidations highly desirable
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written essential

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 + Superannuation
