Finance Manager

Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a well known charity based in the heart of Bristol. This opportunity is Temporary to Permanent and will start immediately.

Start: ASAP
Duration: 'temp to perm'
Rate: £30-£32,000 per annum

Roles & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the Senior Team in business planning and development to deliver a sustainable financial future
• Maintain and develop financial processes and procedures to improve operations and ensure compliance with all relevant and new legislation including HMRC tax returns, VAT, PAYE and auto-enrolment and best practice.
• Provide quarterly financial information to the Director of Resources, CEO and the finance committee.
• Update and review budgets and prepare budgets for new business.
• Prepare financial statements and analysis with Quarterly Management Accounts (and cash flow forecast) and assess actual performance against budget forecast.
• Maintain the organisation's fixed asset register.
• Create and process monthly salaries journal

In order to be considered, you will ideally:

• Be a Qualified Accountant OR Qualified by Experience (QBE)
• Have prior 'hands on' experience of producing/reviewing Management Accounts and Payroll
• Have prior experience of managing
• Be a strong communicator
