Management Accountant

The client are a large utlities organisation based in Basildon, Essex who are looking for a finalist Management Accountant for a 12 month FTC covering maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have experience from a large company setting and be confident, interpersonal and technically sound.

Client Details

My client are a leader in environmental management services who are currently seeking a finalist Management Accountant to join them on a maternity cover contract spanning 12 months. The role is looking for candidates who are experienced in Management Accounts and who are outgoing to lead the business partnership function of the business. You will be tasked with building a budget and writing management and board reports.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing monthly management accounts (accrurals, prepayments, budgets & forecasts)
- month-end reports (balance-sheet reconciliations, control account reconciliations)
- Supporting the finance manager with timeley and accurate information
- Variance analysis and commentary
- Business partnering

Profile

The successful candidate will be available at short notice, be a CIMA/ACCA/ACA finalist and have experience within Management Accounting. It will be advantageous to have experience from a large organisation. You will be proactive, astute and keen to hit the ground running.

Job Offer

On offer to the successful candidate is a 12 month FTC and a competitive salary of £42,000. You will also be entitled to;
