Work you'll do:
  • Focus our client's organization to prepare for and sustain their transformation journey
  • Apply deep insurance sector expertise to lead initiatives in a given offering domain and enable a client's transformation
  • Lead projects and provide strategic direction across the account to deliver a superior client experience
  • Advise the client to make decisions that positively impact return on investment; provides subject matter expertise on sector trends and leading practices
  • Develop and manage key Chief Strategy Officer, Strategy Director and other Customer Focused relationships within Hong Kong for all target accounts within the Insurance Sector. Create meaningful relationships through the relevant hierarchies with decision-makers at all target accounts
  • Support clients in their digital transformation journeys and creating innovation across the ecosystem
  • Project confidence, establish credibility with and influence clients at all levels
  • Adopt a global approach to networking, building eminence and assembling teams to best serve clients
  • Articulate an informed opinion on leading edge technologies and how they affect emerging business models in domain area
  • Participate in the leadership of the Hong Kong Consulting team acting as a peer and a mentor for the development of core Consulting capabilities across the team, regardless of competence or industry focus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in business, commerce, management, or related disciplines. MBA from a well-recognized business school or Master in Finance, Economics or related majors is preferred

  • 10 years of experience in global consulting firm with a focus on the following areas:
    • Digital strategy & transformation
    • Health insurance
    • Distribution strategy & transformation - particularly agency and bancassurance
    • Business model transformation
    • Performance management
    • Service operations
  • Solid project delivery experience; having successfully managed or led complex, multi-function / multi-stakeholder projects in a large corporate environment
  • Deep understanding of life, general and/or health insurance industry dynamics and value creation opportunities is required
  • Experience should also include showing versatility in developing major accounts, i.e. expanding existing as well as creating new revenue streams.
  • Having an entrepreneurial mindset to create disruptive impacts for clients
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high commitment to quality client service
  • Strong track-record in effectively developing market credibility in a timely manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to motivate and lead a team with enthusiasm, drive and effectiveness
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is preferred
  • Outgoing character. Strong sense in business development is required. Proven track record in business development activities is a definite advantage
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for Director
