As a member of one of the firm's priority accounts, be responsible for leading general business development and demand creation activity on the account. Demand creation, is the application of thematics that may have an impact on the client's customer environment, engaging with the client on same, understanding the challenges arising and developing a campaign around how we can support.

The candidate will need to be able to be an independent thinker, be innovative, have strong desire to continuously learn, and work collaboratively with a wide varied number of team members to develop appropriate solutions. Making use of available account support, be a meticulous organiser and have ability to deploy strategic and tactical solutions.

Responsibilities

- Through collaboration with Client Service Team and Subject Matter Experts, meet team revenue targets for the account
- Support coverage team in developing account plans, taking responsibility for their execution and developing and maintaining client relationships
- Working with other Business Development Managers, build and institutionalise a client base, establishing and nurturing their own brand at the client
- Identify opportunities. These opportunities are defined as new market development initiatives for the firm, new clients and new opportunities
- Identify firm key stakeholders from across the firm who can deliver solution-based outcomes for the client's customers
- Continue to leverage and build on the firm's business development capabilities

Experience

- University graduate with a minimum of 9 years' experience
- Significant experience in a client-facing role and an understanding of the professional services market, ideally gained from working in a business development role within consulting firm
- Knowledge of banking industry
- Effective networker with Customer Relationship Management skills
- Demonstrated success in identifying customer needs and Challenges
- Experience in developing and leading relationship-building activities with senior executives
- Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Strong Persuasion, influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong communications and presentation skills
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is required
