Forensic Accountant

Your New Employer:

Based in Leeds you will be working for a leading global legal firm that has a long-standing reputation for delivering high quality legal advice. Based in the Forensic and Accounting Services department you will be analysing the accounts and financial data, assessing the financial position of companies supporting lawyers in their cost applications.

Accountabilities:

As the Forensic Accountant you will undertake the full analysis of the accounts and financial data, reviewing of the accounts and advising on technical accounting issues, conduct fraud, financial and regulatory investigations. You will use data analytics tools and techniques to analyse large volumes of data and report on the results of work undertaken presenting these to lawyers and clients on your technical accounting findings.

Experience Required:

You will either possess an ACA or ACCA accounting qualification with forensic accounting experience including commercial litigation, valuations and investigations. Experience of compliance audits with knowledge of business intelligence gathering and data analytics. You will possess excellent communication, commercial awareness and the motivation to succeed.
