Meraki Talent are looking for an inspiring Management Accountant for a small investment company in Edinburgh. The client is looking for someone responsible for end-to-end preparation of accounts for the business and clients. This will also include assisting with company clients, including valuation of portfolios, preparation of NAV calculations, and settling FOREX transactions.

The duties of the Management Accountant:
- Production of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts for the company and clients
- Production of annual budget reports for associates
- Management of the cashflow for the company and clients
- Assisting with the internal audit process
- Preparation of VAT returns and ensure accurate submissions
- Accurate logging of invoices and processing payments
- Other Ad-hoc tasks.
The background of the Management Accountant:
- Studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) OR AAT qualified
- Minimum 2-3years experience in a similar role which cover preparation of management accounts
- Intermediate Excel user
- Experience working within financial services would be advantageous but not essential
