Junior Accounts Payable Clerk

A medium sized Building and Construction company based in the heart of St. Albans are looking to recruit a Junior Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent full time basis.

Junior entry level role with excellent training and career progression, paying a salary of £16,000 - £18,000 depending on experience. They are seeking a candidate who is keen to start a career in Accounting who is computer literate and works well in a team environment.

They are looking to recruit a permanent Junior Accounts Payable Clerk on a permanent basis to code and process invoices and report into a hands on Accounts Payable Supervisor. Description

• Reporting into an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor
• Dealing with Suppliers via email or phone
• General office support activities - re ordering of stationary
• Statement Reconciliations
• Dealing with incoming emails in Purchase Ledger
• Scanning for both Purchase Ledger and Sub contracts
• Liaison with commercial Managers regarding payments

• Living local to St. Albans
• Ideally a background in Invoicing or Administration
• Someone who is keen to pursue a career in accounting
• Computer literate, ideally strong with Excel
• Team Player
• Hard working person with a bubbly personality
• Good attention to detail
