Within Group Finance, your role forms part of a 35 strong team in Regulatory Reporting that is responsible for reporting to the Group’s regulator, APRA and other regulatory bodies (RBA & ABS) which supports the Group’s banking license.
This role would suit candidates from professional practice looking to make their first move into commerce, or candidates with risk/regulatory experience who would like to broaden their skills in our rapidly changing environment.
Do work that matters
Leveraging your technical skills, as a Senior Analyst, you will:
- Ensure that quality monthly and quarterly Capital/Credit Risk/Exposure reporting returns are delivered to APRA and other regulatory bodies, including RBA and BIS.
- Assist in the preparation of the Pillar 3, Profit Announcement and Annual Report table to deadlines.
- Respond to information and data requests from APRA and other regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting processes, as well as taking an active role in integration projects, such as systems upgrades.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
- Full CA/CPA/ACCA status, with an understanding of the key drivers in a regulatory driven environment, or knowledge of financial products (added bonus).
- Data analysis and data mining skills.
- A process improvement focused mindset.
