Financial Accountant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting (Financial Services) are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join a leading real estate and infrastructure investment manager in London. This is a great opportunity to join a market leading firm and gain maximum exposure to a high-class business.

Duties for this financial accountant role will include the following:

• Reviewing the cashbooks, journals, management accounts, statutory accounts and tax computations for multiple holdcos
• Assisting the audit process for the holdcos
• Improving the controls/documentation of the fund working files
• Placing FX trades
• Reviewing director fees and group relief invoices
• Other ad hoc projects as requested by the Financial controller

The successful applicant will have the following experience/qualifications:

• A Newly Qualified Financial Accountant to 1-year PQE (ACA/ACCA)
• Financial and Management accounting in the financial services ideally with a background in real estate or infrastructure background
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS
• Strong working knowledge of excel
• Ideally have exposure to the audit process and dealing with various stakeholders

Salary & Benefits

This temporary role for a financial accountant will be for a minimum of 12 months.

The rate for this Financial Accountant position is £275-£325 per day.
