Project Accountant - Financial Planning
Robert Half are working with a leading Gloucestershire based business to recruit a dynamic project accountant, with project accounting experience and strong commercial nous to join their fast paced team and work for the Finance Director across a multitude of complex projects.
Role
This role will be almost entirely project based, helping the business get to grips with the financial impact and profitability of a multitude of projects. The role's responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in completion of Annual Budgets and Five Year Strategic Plan.
- Assisting in the completion of Monthly Project Reports.
- Assistant to the FP&A Manager to include commercial analysis and ad hoc financial investigations
- Attending Monthly Project Reviews.
- Assisting in Month End Activities.
- Assisting in Project Activities.
- Engineering Cash Milestones Review.
- Assisting in R&D Tax Credit.
- Internal and External Audit support
- IFS Improvements and Ad hoc IFS projects
- Project revenue recognition calculations
- Support project teams as required
- Project Warranty Provision requirement reviews.
- Half Year Reporting as required.
Profile
You will be a commercial accountant with strong financial planning experience across a number of complex projects.
Salary & Benefits
£45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits.
The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
