Assistant Management Accountant

Robert Half are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding company in Thame to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their friendly finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity offering variation, full involvement around the management accounts process and career development. This is a full-time role offering a salary between £28,000 - £32,000 plus study support.

The Role

As the Assistant Management Accountant, your main responsibilities will consist of:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting the preparation of the board packs
• VAT returns
• Fixed assets and depreciation
• Accruals and prepayments
• Monthly intrastats
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Producing financial reports
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintaining the general, purchase and sales ledger
• Assisting with year-end audit

Profile

• Must have experience assisting with the preparation of management accounts
• Ideally an AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier, QBE (qualified by experience) will also be considered
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Keen learner
• Strong team player
• Confident communicator
• Competent user of Excel (lookups, sumif's, pivot tables)

Salary & Benefits

Our client is offering a salary between £28,000 - £32,000, study support, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), pension scheme and other excellent benefits.
