Our client, an FMCG global brand is searching for a group accountant to join their team on a 6 month contract. This role will initially focus on the implementation of IFRS 16 but once this process is completed you will be assigned to all other technical accounting projects of the business.

- Evaluate impact of new financial reporting requirements under IFRS 16
- Play a key role in lease accounting for the business (under IFRS and US GAAP)
- Reviewing group lease documentation
- Ensure accurate information submitted
- Complete accounting documentation to support each lease
- Ensure US GAAP adjustments are correctly reported
- Year-end statutory accounts
- Provide technical accounting support to preparation of statutory financial statements
- Provide ad-hoc technical support to the finance team as required
Requirements:
- Fully qualified ACA (practice trained)
- IFRS16 knowledge (desired)
- USGAAP experience (desired)
