As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your role will be to oversee the entire Purchase Ledger function, from posting invoices to reconciling statements.

Client Details

My client is a well-established Group within the Manufacturing and Engineering industry. They are looking for a new Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the established Finance team based out of Poole.

Description

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Taking full responsibility for the payment runs.
  • Reconciling supplier statements.
  • Ensuring queries are resolved within a timely fashion.
  • Matching, checking and coding invoices.
  • Setting up payment runs out of Sage.
  • Loading payment runs into the banking software.
  • Being the first point of contact for suppliers.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary.

Profile

To be successful in your application, you should have:

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Sage (not essential).
  • Experience in a volume environment (not essential).
