As part of a growing business, you will be closely involved in controlling the financial operations of different business units, implementing ways to streamline the financial activities which will ensure smooth and efficient management of the financial department of the Company. On a daily basis, you will work closely with the CFO and with our external accountant.

Description
Key responsibilities for this Assistant Accountant role include:
Ensure that all the payments to the suppliers have been made, checked, and clear all the lines related to expenses
Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
Keeping accounting books and systems up-to-date
Ensure that financial statements and records comply with federal state and local financial legal requirements, by studying existing and new legislations and enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
Search and study the financial data, conduct ratio analysis, and make subsequent suggestions for improvements

Able to communicate complex findings in clear and simple ways
General Maths Skills
Excellent command of Excel
Knowledge of XERO
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in accounting, finance, or Economics would also be preferred.
