KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This positionwill be part of North America Technology business HQ Finance team, reporting tothe Sr. Director North America HQ (FP&A) Finance and contributeindividually and also work closely with the VP Finance for North America Techand other finance team members, both locally and at a distance. Responsibilities will include both routineand ad hoc analysis and reporting and to work on various business reviewspresentations for the EVP and his team for CEO reviews. The candidate must have strong organizationskills and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment where he/she oftenoperate independently and under tight timelines.

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director and VP of Finance to buildfinancial presentations and slide decks for quarterly business reviews (QBR's)with the Executive Vice President and the office of the CEO.
  • Consolidation of long range plan and performance metricsacross business groups
  • Assist with quarter–end activities ranging from dealtracking to forecast accuracy analysis
  • Support theweekly NA Tech forecast process and annual budget process.
  • Develop anunderstanding of critical business performance drivers.
  • Provideperiodic and ad–hoc financial analyses and reporting in support of NA Techexecutive management.
  • Assist withother special projects, including dashboard maintenance and standardizationefforts.

  • Ability to thrive in high visibility, high complexity,deadline–driven environment.
  • Comfortable working with very large data sets in a databaseenvironment as well as business intelligence systems to create queries,troubleshoot complex data sets and produce concise analyses.
  • Excellent excel skills with experience in producingflexible, repeatable, succinct reports that are highly automated and have fewtouch points.
  • Excellent Power Point skills
  • Team player with positive, can–do attitude willing to whatit takes to get the job done right in the interest of the team.
  • Extreme attention to detail and superior organizationalskills.
  • Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to tenaciouslypursue a problem to resolution.

  • EDUCATION

  • BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field, MBApreferred
  • Minimum 8+ yearsfinance/accounting experience (MBA is equivalent to two years' experience)
  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.

    As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad–hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non–routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to partner across functions. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.
