  • Objective:
    Overall in charge of the Finance, HR, IT and Admin Department of the company with the objective of planning, implementing and managing financial and accounting matters effectively and efficiently in order to generate up-to-date and accurate financial, HR and management information for effective decision making and strategic planning.

    Dimension:
    Financial Management, Treasury, Taxation Supports and Human Resource, IT and Office administration.

    Nature and Scope:
    To establish and maintain sound financial and accounting systems and controls, budgetary controls, credit control as well as cash flow and funds management.

    Principal Accountabilities:
    The incumbent main responsibilities are:
  • To provide financial analysis, information and expertise in relations to accounts and finance, HR practices and fulfilling all legal and statutory requirements when carry out such activities
  • To ensure an accurate and timely flow of financial information to assist Management in strategy planning, cost savings and decision making.
  • To implement new and up-to-date procedures, standards and IT computerized accounting system with the objective to upgrade and improve the department's performance.
  • To ensure effective tax planning is practiced in all aspects; tax compliance among others direct and indirect taxes as well as accuracy of SST reporting.
  • To prepare accurate and timely Monthly Management Reports and Financial Statements.
  • To ensure the Monthly Management Reports and Financial Statements conform to accepted accounting standards and principles.
  • To maintain sound credit control and to manage proper cash flow and funds management for the company.
  • To continually review for, monitor and implement where necessary, a strong Budgetary Control system.
  • To liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents and other external related parties.
  • To identify and provide training and development to Accounts and HR Department personnel.
  • To develop departmental budget, track expenditures, actual financial performance and targets.
  • To provide forecasting, cash flow, revenues and expenses.
  • To determine needs and gathering, analysing and presenting data to provide accurate information for Product Costing usage.
  • To assist MD in providing leadership for the organizations financial and operations and overall implementation of company directions.

Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
Qualifications : Bachelor Degree in CIMA/ ACCA / MACPA/ Finance or equivalent
Experience : The incumbent should have at least with minimum of 10 years related experience in manufacturing industries.
