Ironwood Capital is a successful, growing investment management company located in Avon, Connecticut. We are currently seeking an office manager/bookkeeper to join our team. If you are a take–charge individual with outstanding Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, plus QuickBooks experience this opportunity may be a fit. You must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented. The ideal candidate has the skills necessary to handle accounts payable, account receivables, monthly bank reconciliations, monthly/quarterly/yearly journal entry accruals as well as coordinate meetings and other office events. They should be comfortable answering inbound phone calls, distributing mail to employees and handling outgoing mail. They should be positive and outgoing.
?? Assist CFO and Controller with all aspects of accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, quarterly reporting, etc.)
?? Coordinate and organize office activities
?? Oversee office equipment leases and stock of office supplies
?? Coordinate inbound and outbound office mail
?? Support partners in scheduling meetings, interviews and transport
?? QuickBooks experience
?? All aspects of accounting entries
?? Experience with administrative and clerical work and strength in Microsoft Office suite
?? Strong communication skills, including good writing
?? Strong ability to multitask
?? Friendly and upbeat demeanor
Annual salary range is $45 – $65k, commensurate with experience.
