Primary position responsibilities:
  • Train and evaluate assigned teammates to enhance their performance, development and

  • work product– including performance reviews and goal setting
  • Review work product of Cash Accounting team and provide effective feedback as appropriate
  • Provide assistance to Cash Accounting Leadership with ad hoc requests
  • Oversee routine department activities
  • Respond to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs
  • Structure and lead projects
  • Coordinate and lead team meetings
  • Prepare/review monthly cash reconciliations as assigned
  • Identify, research and resolve cash discrepancies timely following established policy and procedures.
  • Prepare/review general ledger entries
  • Assist with reconciliation system processes related to loading data, reporting and workflow
  • Work closely with facility personnel, department leaders and team members, assisting with any accounting/financial questions or needs

  • Total education, vocational training and experience:
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a business setting required
  • 1+ years of lead/supervisory experience required
  • PeopleSoft experience is preferred
  • Understanding of accounting principles, including debits/credits, standard account reconciliations is preferred

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks while setting priorities and working independently
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong analytical and problem–solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with facilities, teammates and external vendors
  • Knowledge and ability to place a high emphasis and maintain controls surrounding financial reporting as pertains to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Proficient in Microsoft: Excel, Outlook, Word
