Sr Ops Financial Analyst - Snyder's Lance
Job Summary The Senior Analyst of Ops Financial is responsible for providing financial and business related analysis in support of the Supply Chain organization. Researches, interprets, develops, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts and/or techniques for financial planning, assessment, and controls that impact the various projects and transactions. Essential Job Duties
Analyzes impacts to COGS spending, consumption earnings, variable and fixed spending. Acts as analytical support for plant specific activities. Provides analysis of inventory movements, transactions, reconciliations. Analyzes commodity cost changes impacts. Supports and participates in system changes that impact COGS and S&D. Provides asset utilization reviews. Provides asset disposition analysis. Assists in the development of the budgets, volume and expense planning, and other financial requirements. May perform other duties as required. Scope of Responsibility Somewhat independent; working under general instructions and expected to determine how to accomplish the work assignments. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Strong analytical skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, synthesizing complex or diverse information. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to exercise discretion while managing confidential information. Strong computer skills including Microsoft. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree from four–year college or university; a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Physical Demands The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee must be able to sit most of the day, typing and using the phone. Work Environment Office environment; noise level is usually moderate. Travel Required Minimal travel may be required.
