The Controller / Financial Manager job role leads and manages the human capital necessary for an efficient accounting/finance department. This individual ensures all compliance related to financial and contractual activities of the organization. Additionally, this role manages the daily cash flow. The job role requires an individual who can utilize a high level of written and verbal communication skills in a demanding environment to effectively meet the challenge of vendor, customer and staff satisfaction. The Controller / Financial Manager must understand and effectively communicate the various protocols and policies needed to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations. Responsibilites: Supervises all employees in the Accounting/Finance department Ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations governing financial/contractual activities of the organization. Manage all systems and process changes for the Finance department Manage daily cash flow requirements Prepare and provide monthly financial statements, bank compliance, sales reports, analysis, and other reports Train, guide and oversee employees to ensure that work is performed timely, accurately and efficiently. ?? Requirements Include: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance required Minimum of 3 years of previous Accounting experience required Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience required Self–motivated with great initiative and ability to work independently or as part of a team Proven written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Broad range of computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft office and various accounting software Ability to maintain confidential information and intellectual property About F.E.
