Job Description
Business Quality Assurance Checks
  • Business Process reviews - depending on the business and regulatory environment, identify key risk areas for additional monitoring and conduct targeted reviews of business processes / systems, including sample transaction testing; assess adequacy of controls and management awareness in monitoring operational risks; draft findings in a formal report to senior management and raise awareness of issues identified.
  • Risk Diagnostics - Undertaken a comprehensive overview of selected departments functions and recommends improvements to ensure significant risk has been raised and controls are being developed to mitigate the risk.
  • RCA Challenge Sessions - To challenge and reaffirm current key risk and controls together with business lines.

Regulatory Reporting Quality & Assurance
  • Incident management - To have a strong analytical analysis for every operational risk event. To conducts root cause analysis of operational losses and provides business management with recommendations on internal control improvements; monitor adverse trends in operational losses and suggest loss reduction tactics; provide loss input into the economic capital model.
  • Key risk indicators (KRI) - collect, report, and monitor KRIs for their continued relevance and inform management of emerging risks that require corrective actions.
  • Risk assessments (RCA) - conduct quarterly risk assessments and proactively identify changes in control / risk ratings that may warrant senior management's attention.
  • To manage periodic regulatory reporting to both local regulatory (BNM) via ORION and regional counterparts.
  • To manage incidents and KRI data submission in both BNM's ORION and the Group Archer system.
  • To conduct regular quality assurance on operational tools data submission to BNM and Regional.

Requirements:
  • Pre-University degree (Preferably in Economy, Finance, Business & Risk Management)
