Work you'll do:
- Demonstrate an appreciation of the importance of addressing specific audit and risk advisory priorities in line with explicit stakeholder requirements
- Is aware of core risk assessment processes and key entity and industry background and understands how this impacts on the work they perform
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver the audit and understand how their role integrates into the wider engagement team
- Make appropriate use of tools, guidance and methodology as directed in delivering their contribution to the audit
- Adopt a structured approach and follows process in delivering their work against the project plan
- Understand the audit issues and judgements in their assigned audit work, and demonstrate professional skepticism in its execution
- Act with honesty and integrity and build a foundational knowledge of ethical and professional standards and Deloitte processes which safeguard client confidentiality and the firm's reputation
- Build own understanding of our purpose and values; explore opportunities for impact
- Demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development; act as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent
- Understand expectations and demonstrates personal accountability for keeping performance on track
- Actively focus on developing effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Understand how their daily work contributes to the priorities of the team and the business
- Bachelor's / Master's degree of any disciplines, accounting or accounting related major is preferred
- Certification of CICPA, HKICPA is desirable and other CPA is preferred
- 1 - 2 years auditing experience in CPA firms, preferred Big 4
- Good understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and/or HK GAAP and strong IPO related knowledge and experience wherever related to US, HK or Singapore is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and highly commitment to quality client service
- Be mature, initiative with strong sense of teamwork
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Willing to travel
