Assistant Management Accountant

Part Qualified Management Accountant based on the outskirts of Bath, £25,000 - £35,000

A highly successful and rapidly growing company based on the outskirts of Bath. They have a large finance team that offer lots of opportunities and a study support package coupled with good benefits and free parking.

You will be working as a Senior Assistant Management Accountant and will be reporting into the Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts to a high level of accuracy
• Delivering P&L Reviews at month end
• Providing clear and actionable P&L explanation and Commentary to the business support managers each month
• Dealing with queries regarding results, reconciling Takings differences at month end, and ensuring any process issues are picked up and resolved
• Owning specific Balance Sheet accounts at month end and working with the team to deliver a comprehensively reconciled balance sheet pack each month
• Uploading the by month Budgets for new sites as required
• Raising sales invoices and credits to clear intercompany balances
• Improving the system and making efficiencies
• Being proactive in issue identification and resolution, including identification of profit opportunities

We are looking for candidates that are actively studying towards CIMA or ACCA, that have worked in a previous Assistant Management Accounting role and have good Excel skills.
