I am pleased to be partnering with a successful, SME business based in Avonmouth who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their dedicated team. You'll have the opportunity to lease with their Sales team to discuss the cost of goods, process sales invoices and calculate commission payments for them. As well as covering all other areas of transactional Finance.

This would suit someone who has previous experience within in Finance.

This would suit someone who has previous experience within in Finance and is studying their AAT. Similarly, if you have a huge amount of experience but looking for a role that'll compliment a good work / balance then this could also be relevant for you.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:

  • Checking and processing purchase Invoices and entering them onto Sage
  • Processing Sales Invoices
  • Customer/Supplier queries
  • Taking payments (debit/credit card machine) for sales invoices
  • Cost of Goods (sales price less purchase price) for sales team
  • Updating (Excel) sales spreadsheet - all Invoice details, cost of goods, margin etc (required for
  • calculating commissions)
  • Sage 50 Accounts Professional experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365
  • Calculating commission payments for sales team
  • Credit control
  • Profile

    The successful candidate:

    • Previous experience within a finance role
    • Strong Excel knowledge
    • Experience using Sage50
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Well organised
    • Self-motivated individual
    • Good communication and administrative skills
    • Strong team player
