Job Title: Accounting Manager – Accounts Payable

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable function for Finance Department in Singapore and South East Asia

Essential Functions:

Finance Responsibilities

• Manage the processes of Accounts Payable to ensure up to date and timely payment of local and foreign vendor purchases
• Manage the processes for supplier contract management and consignment arrangement
• Preparation, approval and communication of all financial reporting materials and metrics for management, statutory, preparation of corresponding monthly, and annually related financial statements
• Responsible and accountable to develop and implement finance and accounting procedures in the related area of accounting responsibilities
• Ensure that finance staff s maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP
• Work with Corporate Treasury to manage payment process and working capital needs
• Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards and SOX compliance

Other Responsibilities

• Strong background and passion in driving process improvement initiatives in finance operations
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or a professional accounting qualification
• At least 5 years of related working experience
• Experience in managing teams, able to drive and lead a team
• Good communications skills
• Must be meticulous and a team player
• Strong English skills essential
