Essential Responsibilities:
1.Bookkeeping - setting up accounting policies in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements, manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
2.Reporting - manage month-end and year-end close process, ensure accuracy and timeliness in timely monthly financial statements, regulatory reporting, and analysis.
3.Tax - manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
4.FP&A and Budgeting - FP&A lead in handing budget, oversee all business planning initiatives in collaboration with the headquarter finance team, collaborate on business performance evaluations with various leaders to build effective strategies and operating plans.
5.Treasury - process cheques and payments
6.Internal control - Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls,financially accountable professional ensuring financial controls/compliance
7.Acting as a bridge between headquarter finance team and US finance team and ensure smooth communication between each other
8.Additional duties of finance head as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
2. 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, with strong record of career progression.
3. CPA or CMA preferred
4. Hands-on ability with analytical tools and systems.
5. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
6. Fluent in English and Mandarin language. Excellent ability to communicate in formal Chinese and English written and oral communications with executive management team
7. Legal authorization to work in U.S is required. We sponsor work visa for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
8. Proven working experience as a head of finance team or leading finance department.
9. Strong verbal and written communication skills
10. Strong social and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with finance, business, and R&D leaders.
11. Highly motivated, hands-on person, attention to detail and accuracy.
12. Excellent analytical skills and persuade leaders using sound financial evidence to support business strategies.
