Client Accountant

Robert Half are excited to be working with a fast-growing and entrepreneurial investment business that focus on buying and developing student real estate throughout the UK

Based in their office in London's West End, this very successful business investment in student accommodation; hotel suites; commercial units and residential Buy to Lets.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, the new Lettings Client Accountant will play a pivotal part in the growth of this very ambitious company. Some of the duties will include:

• Preparation and submission of Owner Statements, VAT Reports and other reports
• Billing of periodic rent, service charges and insurance charges to tenants
• Entering Service Charge Budgets onto the system and ensuring tenant on accounts amended accordingly
• Calculation and compilation of completion statements, rent review calculations and interest
• Preparation and reconciliation of annual Service Charge accounts
• Transfer of rental income to client
• Preparation and submission of funding requests to client
• Monthly reconciliation of Client Bank accounts, including investigation & correction of reconciling items
  
  

Criteria

• A junior finance professional with a minimum of 1 years' experience in Client Accounting
• Have commenced studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Willing to work in a highly-driven team environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Highly-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills
  
  

Package

• Base salary of £27-30,000 base salary (DOE)
• Full study support plus 2 days off per exam
• 26 days annual leave
