Client Details

We are partnering with a leading Property and Housing company in Milton Keynes. Development and growth of the payroll function has created the need for an experienced Payroll Analyst to join the team.

Description

Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Analyst, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Payroll, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processes are adhered to for payroll. You will liaise very closely with key internal contacts including HR, Finance and Line Managers.

  • Develop and strengthen payroll processes
  • Be the main point of contact for all payroll and employee benefit queries
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to identify and support continuous improvements
  • Process new starters and leavers
  • Interacting with Benefit consultants in administering salary sacrifice scheme, and pay rolled benefits in kind
  • Support with payroll implementations
  • Interacting with internal and external auditors as required.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and maintain personnel files
  • Ad-hoc tasks to support on-going projects

Profile

Payroll Analyst Requirements:

  • Have previous payroll experience
  • Track record of business partnering across the wider business functions
  • Possess strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • General knowledge of UK legislation and regulations.
  • Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel .
  • Have good working knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office packages
  • Desire to expand to other responsibilities outside of payroll in order to support the finance role
