Assistant Finance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for timely preparation of the Group's financial reporting / statements in compliance withlatest Malaysian Accounting Standards.
Responsible to ensure the year-end audit is completed on time and timely delivery of audited report /quarterly report for the purpose of Board Meetings.
Responsible to co-ordinate with the project heads for the purpose of project budget, review and analyseany variance(s) arises between budget and actual.
Responsible for the Group's income tax planning, review of income tax computation and to ensure timely submission of income tax returns to Inland Revenue Board.
Responsible to develop, review and implement internal control policies / SOPs and to ensure such policies and procedures are adhered to.
Responsible to work closely with Company Secretary and related advisor(s) to ensure compliance to MMLR, Bursa announcement, and to assist GCFO to ensure timely delivery of SORMIC, Corporate Governance Statement, MD&A etc.
Assist GCFO in matters related to Investors' Briefing, Corporate Presentation event and talks such as slides preparation, communication between advisor(s) and can represent GCFO for such outings.
Asisst in Internal Audit related matters including the review of Internal Audit Report, closing audit finding(s) and to come up with idea(s) for future improvement on the control environment.

REQUIREMENTS

Possess Accouting/Finance degree or relevant professional qualification (ACCA/CPA or equivalent
Audit experience in construction industry is an added advantage.
