This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of Australia’s premier Banking groups. The position sits within the Group Regulatory Reporting team and will play a critical role in the accurate delivery of new suite of APRA/regulatory reporting requirements within defined timeframes.
Reporting to the Manager Group Regulatory Reporting you will be responsible for the following:
You have proficient knowledge of financial accounting and reporting principals together with strong numeric, analytical and problem solving skills. SAP/HFM experience plus exposure to data warehouses would also be an advantage.
Reporting to the Manager Group Regulatory Reporting you will be responsible for the following:
- Work as part of a team in the production and delivery of a broad suite of Regulatory reports, supporting data review schedules and reconciliation reports, and have oversight of those reports
- Undertake data analysis, testing and validation of regulatory data and returns
- Undertake reconciliation of financial information between new APRA returns, existing APRA returns and bank financial systems
- Coordinate with Data Validation team members, Return Reviewers and Return Owners to ensure that returns are fit for purpose and key controls across the preparation process are maintained
- Address and resolve return post submission items in addition to queries from APRA
- Escalate risk events as required
