A Group Taxation Manager is needed to fill a role in Sandton for the overall management of tax affairs of all entities, taxpayers and VAT vendors to ensure adherence to tax legislation.
Requirements:
Chartered Accountant Qualification at NQF level 8
Masters Degree in Taxation at NQF level 9 is preferable
Knowledge of Tax legislation that has been promulgated in South Africa the most pertinent being:
Income Tax Act 58 of 1962, Carbon Tax Act 15 of 2019, Securities Transfer Act of 2007, Tax Administration Act of 2011, Transfer Duty Act 40 of 1949, Value Added Tax Act 89 of 1991
Competencies:
Tax administration and Accounting management
Ensuring adherence to tax legislation
Ensuring all functions and activities of the tax department are integrated with the tax risk management elements to reduce tax risks
Responsible for the sustainable performance of the tax department
Requirements:
