Financial Controller

The role of the Financial Controller is to manage the finance team. You will be responsible for a wide range of work from the more technical side of things through to commercial projects. This Gainsborough based role would be an excellent opportunity for a senior finance professional to add real value across a growing business.

They specialise in manufacturing electronic motion controls and supply these to many well-known markets throughout the world. Description

The successful candidate for the Gainsborough based role of Financial Controller would be responsible for the following;

• Daily, Weekly and Monthly report preparation

• Partnering with the managers across the business to deliver business results

• Managing and developing the finance team

• Implementing strong financial controls that ensure compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards

• Oversee the balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts

• Annual budget preparation and forecasting

• Consolidating reports for the group

Profile

The successful candidate for the Financial Controller role should possess the following;

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified

• Experience in a similar position

• Degree qualified is preferred, but not essential

• Experience managing a team

• A positive attitude towards change

• Be adaptable and reactive in the workplace

• Describe themselves as a hands-on worker

• Experience with foreign currency is desirable

Job Offer

£50,000-£60,000 base salary, £7,800 car allowance, 25 days holiday, private healthcare
