Our client is a leading fashion company located in London's West End. Due to expansion across their accountancy team, they are looking for a Fashion/Retail Accountant to join their business.
Description
Located in London's West End, our client is looking for a Fashion/Retail Accountant with responsibility for the following duties:
Ensure that all the payments to the suppliers have been made, checked, and clear all the lines related to expenses
Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
Keeping accounting books and systems up-to-date
Ensure that financial statements and records comply with federal state and local financial legal requirements, by studying existing and new legislations and enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
Search and study the financial data, conduct ratio analysis, and make subsequent suggestions for improvements
KPI reports and analysis
Profile
The successful candidate:
Fashion/Retail accounting experience - ESSENTIAL & NON-NEGOTIABLE
Xero - desirable but not essential
Italian speaker - desirable but not essential
Job Offer
Salary of £30,000-£35,000
