Finance Manager(Logistics), Klang

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a Multinational Freight Forwarder. They are a pioneer NVOCC in the country, with over 15 years of establishment in Malaysia. Our clients are looking for a Finance Manager with minimum 5 years' experience in the logistics line.

Key job responsibilities include:• Manage full spectrum of statutory accounting and management functions.
• Oversee timely month end closing process and in compliance with laws including timely reconciliation and approval of all balance sheet accounts.
• Manage country P&L by working with Business and Functions to meet Plan.
• Provide internal management reports to meet local Business needs and identify opportunity to improve profitability or reduce costs.
• Submit monthly reporting package requested by Regional Finance on a timely basis.
• Guide and oversee the annual budgeting process.
• Perform annual review of key business cycles to ensure proper business controls and procedures are in place.
• Oversee banking relationships and corporate finance management.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretaries.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelors' degree in Accounting. ACCA/MIA/MICPA/ACA preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting and finance function. Experience in reputable audit firm will be an added advantage.
• Specialized in logistics company.
• Excellent language skills in English, capability of another language would be advantageous.
• Able to prepare budgets and monthly management reports.
• Presentation skills are essential.
