- Review of inventory movements and manage inventory reserves
- Process manufacturing transactions: spending and other manufacturing variances, roll out
- Reporting
- Reporting to Corporate: Site performance, inventory reports, product loss...
- Ensure the accuracy of the financial information and provide explanation for financials
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support the planning processes (budget, forecasts …) in collaboration with business key partners, cost center managers and project leaders: assumptions, data collection and consolidation, presentation
- Development of standard costs for manufactured products
- Monthly analysis of major variances to Budget/Forecasts: spending, manufacturing variances, inventory
- Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures and applicable Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Capex
- Monthly Activities
- Process capex transactions: Depreciations, transfers, disposals …
- CPA submission in FAWE: preparation with Project Leaders, financial data management, calculation of economics, submission and follow-up in submission tool
- Review of the spending and timely booking of accruals
- Reporting
- Ensure the accuracy of the financial information provided to Corporate and provide explanation for variances
- Preparation of reporting to Corporate and local management (monthly / quarterly / yearly reports)
- Internal Controls
- Education in Finance or Economics and/or a professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent)
- +5 years of financial experience in a multinational company
- Previous experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation and financial planning
- Clear understanding of the key aspects of financial controls (especially S-Ox)
- Excellent IT skills, good experience with JDE or SAP
- English and French (communication with all levels of the Plant and with Corporate)
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Good interpersonal and presentation/communication skills; capacity to interact with others
