Work you'll do
As a Manager within System Engineering team, you are part of a team of creative, visionary minds of many disciplines who put future-forward thinking into projects that push the edges of technology to support the change of our clients. You'll establish and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You'll:

• Oversee and guide junior expert in configuration of the Insurance software for specific use cases, short-term focus is on IFRS 17
• Identify pitfalls (if any) within the implemented solution as an outcome of the use case testing
• Oversee operation of the IFRS 17 solution in production of results
• Test of completeness during configuration and design quality assurance tests for the specified test cases
• Present findings to the wider team and to the client

Requirements

• Detailed knowledge of the Insurance Processes and experienced in transformation projects
  • Core- and/or Finance Transformation
  • Regulatory projects (IFRS 4, IFRS 17, EV, Solvency II)
  • Tool experience for some of the major providers (SAP, Oracle, Aptitude, SAS, DXC, Guidewire, etc.
• Good understanding of IFRS 17 core concepts is a clear advantage
• Functional understanding of Insurance architectures
• Experienced in implementing insurance solutions for at least two clients
• Profound knowledge in at least one common programming language
• 8+ years of experience in consulting and/or insurance or similar jobs
• Ideally 2+ years of experience in IFRS 17 implementations
• Willing to learn in a fast pace environment with excellent growth opportunity

Positions may be based in Malaysia but project locations could be anywhere in the Asia-Pacific Region.
