Journey Expert – Commercialisation & Change

The Everyday Banking Tribe’s mission is identifying, attracting, and defining propositions and campaigns for everyday banking customers
to make banking easy for them, setting them on the path for a broader relationship with ANZ.

As a Journey Expert in the Commercialisation & Change chapter, your mission is to enable the optimisation of existing end-to-end customer journeys and improve the customer experience by devising new, innovative solutions, services, products or propositions. This role is in a cross-functional team that encompasses strategy, planning, change, product management and delivery for a range of initiatives. You will be supporting regulatory compliance requirements and ensuring adherence to internal governance practices to minimise risk. You will also conduct ongoing product and pricing reviews to ensure that our products remain relevant and compliant in market. The ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners is important.

What skills and experience will you bring as a Journey Expert?
  • Demonstrated experience in areas such as Product Management, Business Delivery, Change Management, and Project Planning with an affinity for working with Technology
  • Financial Services experience, preferably in the unsecured lending business would be looked favourably upon
  • Commercially savvy and competent developing financial scenarios to assess commercial viability
  • Proven strength in efficient delivery (even when faced with complex networks of stakeholders) – ability to plan, document, communicate and deliver on work that ladders up to broader business objectives
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the business, and manage conflicting stakeholder priorities
  • Excellent ability to analyse data, draw insights and think laterally to identify opportunities to deliver growth and business objectives
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions, test the outcomes, and iterate to improve
  • Adept at juggling competing priorities in a fast paced, demanding environment
Outputs/Outcomes :
  • Take part in agile rituals and regular sprint planning as a key member of your squad within the Everyday Banking Tribe
  • Use Human Centred Design (HCD) techniques to bring suitable product solutions to our customers
  • Be accountable for delivering change to our bankers and customers throughout the customer value chain
  • Deliver on the Everyday Banking strategy by developing and enhancing best in class products for our customers
  • Develop financial business case scenarios to evaluate feasibility of product propositions
  • Support a well-managed Everyday Banking Portfolio to comply with a changing regulatory environment. Adhere to internal governance practices to minimise risk
  • Conduct ongoing product and pricing reviews to ensure that our products remain relevant and compliant in market.
