Here's where you come in...
To support the growth of AustralianSuper, we're seeking a Senior Analyst to support AustralianSuper's implementation of an Executive Accountability Regime (EAR), analogous to the BEAR regime that is already applicable to Banks and will become mandatory for Superannuation Trustees.
Once EAR is implemented, you'll manage the day to day management of the "EAR Office", maintenance of the required documentation and the completion of the associated processes to ensure compliance with the Regime going forward.
You'll assist with me the iniital delopment of a project plan and resource map to implement BEAR regime for AustralianSuper. Then support ongoing be accountable for:
- Drafting of Accountability Statements for each AP and AustralianSuper's Accountability Map.
- Product insightful and high quality reports to Management, Board Committees and the Board on the project.
- Administration of Project Steering Committee materials.
- Communications on the Project to the wider Fund.
- Documentation of the ongoing EAR Office accountabilities, responsibilities and procedures.
- Maintain BEAR artefacts post go live.
- Provide guidance and coaching to AP's to allow them to evidence 'reasonable steps' in execution of their accountabilities.
- Provide support as required for other governance matters especially those related to delegations and governance structures.
You'll interact with Group Executives and Senior Leadership team members and will engage with regulators as needed, so we are looking for someone with exceptional relationship management skills.
You'll also need to bring 5+ years management experience in risk, compliance and/or governance related roles with prior experience in ADI implementation of BEAR regime AND/OR knowledge of superannuation and related laws / regulations, and understanding of risk management issues as they affect superannuation funds.
Have an enquiring mind with the smarts and experience in order to successfully challenge the current ways of working and implement successful areas of improvement.
Well-developed written and oral communication/ interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, perspectives and issues to senior management.
Exceptional analytical and research skills and a very high attention to detail.
