Part Qualified Accountant

This large company based in Didcot, Oxfordshire is seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join their growing Finance team and oversee other junior members within the team.

Description

The Part Qualified Accountant will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Senior Finance Manager on ad hoc tasks including ad hoc reporting
• Oversee two members of the finance team and support in their training and development
• Continually look to implement efficiency improvement across the financial processes
• Prepare monthly management accounts and provide analysis when required
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the AP and AR processes when required including bank reconciliations
• Posting journals, accruals, prepayments
• Monitoring costs
• Reviewing bad debt provisions
• Processing intercompany recharge transactions.
• Reconciling costs and revenue
• Assist with year end audit

Profile

The Part Qualified Accountant will be:

• Studying ACCA or CIMA, ideally with a finance/business degree
• Previous finance supervisory experience
• Recent relevant experience within a similar finance role
• Proven experience of working with large ERP systems
• Good communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work under time pressure are essential

Job Offer

The successful Part Qualified Accountant can expect to receive a salary in the range of £35,000 - £40,000 dependent upon experience and level of qualifications. Along side a generous benefits package and study support package.
