Your Team’s Mission

As a Product Owner within our Infrastructure as a Service Domain, your tribe’s mission is to deliver best in class hybrid hosting environments, connectivity and data services. We provide an enterprise grade compute and hosting service at speed that is resilient, secure, cost effective, flexible and enables autonomy for business change.

As a Product Owner you will enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary and technically focused Squad to pursue its delivery of work. You will ensure that the work is operationally and strategically aligned to the Tribes mission and engages with other Product Owners and Release Leads to align and manage interdependencies.

Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is an influencing role where you will be galvanising the squad and external stakeholders around a vision and supporting them achieve business and customer goals.


What will your day look like?
  • Product Owner role is a key leadership role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace
  • Enables and inspires a multi-disciplinary team to pursue its mission, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed by the squad
  • You will be responsible in developing a roadmap that identifies tactical and strategic initiatives that maximise value and balances commerciality for our merchant customers
  • The Product Owner also engages with other Product Owners to align priorities and dependencies
  • You will also lead the execution of the initiatives against the roadmap working closely with and influencing delivery partners and Product owners across distribution, technology, finance, operations and credit, assurance managing interdependencies
  • Constantly prioritises tasks and the squad’s backlog with the customer at the heart of decision making

What you bring to the tribe?

As a Product Owner in IaaS-Enterprise Compute - CPaaS, ideally you would bring the following:
  • Extensive knowledge of the Openshift Environment and Container technologies.
  • Technical experience and strong understanding of Unix and x86 Virtual environments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate competently with Management, Customers and Technical teams.
  • Experience in managing technical teams.
  • Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner.
  • Able to manage the work requests & resolve delivery problems effectively.

This is a Full-time, Permanent opportunity based in 55 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC .
