Here's where you come in
To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking an Analyst - Cash and Liquidity who will be responsible for the monitoring, management and enhancement of the funds short term liquidity requirements. You will also:
- Contribute to delivering a world class treasury function within the Investments team to support activities including income and cost allocation, cash and liquidity forecasts, capital management and financial analysis
- Development of liquidity models and timely, insightful reporting/liquidity dashboard
- Cash and Liquidity Reporting: includes position reporting, forecasting
- Participate in department-wide projects and initiatives
- Provide regular and ad-hoc analysis to management to support investment decisions
You'll need
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of financial instruments and capital markets in a corporate or financial service's focused organisation, you will also possess the following:
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments and capital and money markets
- Strong knowledge of derivative instruments such as swaps, forwards, options and futures in FI, Credit or Currency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An ability to effectively write papers / communicate analysis to management and other stakeholders
- Tertiary level qualification(s) in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related disciplines
