Senior Audit Manager - International Bank, RB Focus

Leading international bank is looking for internal audit manager with excellent retail banking knowledge

Your new company
My client who is one of the leading international bank is looking for experienced Retail Banking Audit professional with a solid background and strong knowledge around the key risks and controls in a retail banking business. With demand increasing, it is seeking to expand and grow a team of intelligent people who have experience in handling internal audit matters.

Your new role
You'll manage a qualified team of Internal Audit with varying levels of experience (Retail Banking). You'll be the key point of contact for your stakeholder. Reviewing and coordinating the workload across your team will be a constant in this position, as well as your ability to lead, develop and mentor a team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experienced internal auditor, risk professional or business practitioner who has deep subject matter expertise in retail banking.
• Prior experience and track record of project management, team leading, maintaining high level of credibility with senior management as well as demonstrating sound judgement and sensitivity to deal with cultural and geographic diversity is essential
• Articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing.
• Be able to prepare high quality written audit reports, as well as be able to objectively summarise and draw out key themes and risks for management attention.
• Self-motivated and able to function independently.
• Have a collaborative approach and be a team player and be able to role model core values of the bank
• Accounting / Audit qualification is strongly preferred (including e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA).
• Ability to commit to up to a maximum of 40% travel. (Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Korea)
