Trainee Accountant

Leading Regional Firm - Trainee Accountant - Excellent training opportunities towards ACA/ACCA, with varied client exposure and exposure with accounts, audit, and tax available.

The role offers a formal training contract with the firm, along with a fully-funded study package leading to a recognised professional qualification, and room for progression for the right candidate.

The Role

This will provide you with full training in a broad spectrum of accountancy, audit and taxation matters, including but not limited to:

• Preparation of annual accounts
• Preparation of personal, partnership and corporation tax returns and associated schedules
• Bookkeeping and data entry
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Forecasts, budgets, and cashflows
• Preparation of management accounts.

The Ideal Candidate will be:

• Educated to at least A level standard (or equivalent)
• Either part-qualified (AAT/ATT/ACA/ACCA) or keen to begin studying shortly
• Motivated and committed, in order to combine employment with study (full study leave will
• be provided)
• Organised and demonstrate suitable time-management skills
• IT proficient, though full training on applicable software will be provided
• Numerate and possess effective teamwork skills
• Demonstrate trustworthiness and integrity at all times.
