Analyst, Chapter Lead (Digital Sales Experience)

We’ve changed the way we run the Australia business, adopted a new way of working and introduced design thinking approaches so we can build a better ANZ for our customers today and in the future. The success of our Australia business – made up of Australia Retail & Commercial led by Mark Hand, and Digital & Australia Transformation led by Maile Carnegie - is dependent on having great people to deliver quality outcomes for our customers.

Working within the Digital Sales Experience Tribe, you will be joining a team who are passionate about attracting & activating customers through Digital Channels, as well as defining and developing sales & engagement strategies across all channels. From a customer perspective, we want to ensure our customers can easily find, learn about, buy and activate our products & services digitally.

We’re looking for a motivated, collaborative and inspired analytics leader to take up a leadership role within our tribe. They will be responsible for leading our group of analysts and provide them with growth opportunities by challenging them to achieve mastery in the world of analytics across 3 key disciplines, inclusive of business, technical and data analytics.

We operate in a scaled agile development environment using human centred design to define and solve problems to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and our business. You’ll work collaboratively with your business and technology teams, across multiple banking channels. This means you will get to:

Solve for problems and issues that matter. You’ll work on providing solutions that make an impact to customers, from providing cutting edge customer engagement tools to ensuring that our website is fit for purpose. You’ll have a laser focus on customers, using human-centred design to provide simple and impactful solutions.

Develop both breadth and depth . We want great analysts and we will foster our people’s talent by giving opportunities to work on things that develop both your deep technical expertise, as well as your broad end-to-end understanding. At times you may be analysing a specific individual use case that pertains to our tribes needs, and at other times you may work on analysing cases that will have an impact on the entire bank and its customer base - either way, you get to work on missions that excites you and ignites your passion.

Work Agile in multidisciplinary teams . You won’t be faced with traditional hierarchies. Instead, working Agile means you will be constantly testing, iterating, and making rapid decisions as you go. Analysts will get to self-organise and work in squads consisting of content developers, engineers, customer journey experts and product owners who come from different domains. It’s not about getting something perfect, but about constantly testing and iterating.

Own it . Most importantly, you’ll get to deliver end to end service, and shape how ANZ delivers on their commitment to providing great customer service through technology.
