Page Personnel are working with a well established Financial Services business, with offices based in Central Altrincham, recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

A well established business are looking for someone with an understanding of working in finance, looking for their next role. This role will suit someone who is hard working, personable and with AP, banking and reconciliation experience.

Description

As an Assistant Accountant, you will report into the Financial Controller, responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the finance function.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: daily bank reconciliations; accounts payable processing; journal posting; payment journal posting; intercompany transactions; monthly accruals and prepayments journal preparation; monthly depreciation journal preparation.

Profile

The successul candidate will:

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential

- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential

- Have knowledge of working in a finance role - Essential

- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
