A superb opportunity has arisen within a leading, Bristol based accountancy practice that will appeal to an experienced all around, Accounts/Tax 'Senior' Accountant professional working within a smaller/medium or large independent firm, who is looking to diversify their technical skills, along with the chance to join a larger very successful firm of chartered accountants.

A highly successful, Bristol based accountancy practice that has experienced impressive growth. The firm acts for wide ranging clients in turnovers and size from smaller, start up, entrepreneurial businesses through to larger corporates, AIM listed and significant sized groups up to circa £200 million in turnover for instance, with a wide ranging OMB client base across varying industries. Alongside this firm has a strong private client, wealth and estate group acting for HMWIs trusts and business both in the UK and overseas. The range of clients within the firm offers a real variety and breadth of complex and interesting work to get involved with, offering the genuine chance to diversify in your career, learning new technical skills and providing a challenging and interesting client base to work with. Description

Based in their Bristol offices you will develop your career as a Trust Accounts Senior joining and complement the firms growing private wealth and estates group within their accounts and trust team. The team is growing in response to an expanding and more demanding client base and this is an excellent opportunity to join a team at the next stage in its growth, with excellent appraisal systems in place and genuine progression on offer as you develop, grow and carve an influential role in this team. As you develop within the role you will take on a portfolio of clients preparing accounts/bookkeeping and wider services for offshore trusts and underlying companies for the wealthiest of their clients on behalf of their overseas offices. The managerial/senior managerial and director support will support and develop the right person making this transition from a more standard accountancy practice role and will encourage, support and develop the right professional with the right approach and attitude.

Profile

You will be any of AAT qualified and having built on your experience since qualification, or you may ACA/ACCA qualified, or QBE only with a career background and strength within accounts/tax etc and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to at least experienced 'Senior Accountant' levels and be looking to diversify your technical skills into new fields and motivated by the chance to join a larger firm environment and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.

Job Offer
