What will your typical day look like?
Supporting Corporate and Private Equity clients in the assessment of potential merger synergies and carve-outs, and stand-alone performance improvements, you will help them realise the true strategic and operational capability of acquisitions. This will involve planning and implementing integration and separation projects as the result of M&A activity.
As a Manager, you will also be involved with:
- Financial analysis and due diligence for the proposed transaction
- Preparation of acquisition / carve out business cases for review by key stakeholders
- Development of integration / separation strategies to extract maximum value from the transaction
- Execution of the transaction, including the negotiation of Transitional Service Agreements, blueprinting and Day-1 (Completion) readiness planning
- End-to-end project management of large-scale transactions
- Coaching junior staff to operationalise the deal process for clients through knowledge of the M&A lifecycle and excellent project management skills

Our M&A Integration and Separation team focus on deal execution and implementation, as well as due diligence and pre-deal analysis. We provide end-to-end support for our clients during sell-side separations and buy-side integrations, with a focus on increasing growth and value. Enough about us, let's talk about you.
You are someone with:
- 5+ years consulting experience from Big 4, tier 2 or boutique consulting firm
- Familiarity with the broader deal-oriented process and environment
- Pragmatic commercial acumen - able to identify risks and develop solutions to manage those risks, with the ability and willingness to deal with ambiguity and change
- Project management experience in planning, overseeing and leading large-scale projects to completion
- Bachelor's degree or post graduate qualification
